Tales of Mystery and Imagination
The book I read this Christmas is Tales of Mystery and Imagination, by Edgar Allan Poe.
Allan Poe is a famous American writer. He was born in 1809 in Boston, and died in 1849. He was orphan so his childhood was sad.
He was a master of the short story (tales) and some people consider him the inventor of the crime fiction.
His most important works are: the Spectacles, Berenice, the Obong Box, etc.
A writter similar to Edgar Allan is Agatha Christie, that also writted crime stories.

This book contains five tales: William Wilson, the Gold Bug, the Fall of the House of Usher, the Red Death and the Cask of Amontillado, but I'm just going to talk about one.
Usher was a friend of mine since a long time ago, but I hadn't seem him for a very long time. Once then, I found that my friend had really changed; he was as white as milk, his eyes were really big and his lips dark and thin.He said he had a illness of his family that make your senses go sharp, and when you see, smell, taste, touch or hear something in a strong wat, you may go mad. We were talking in a room when his sister walked across it without realising we were in. "She cares nomore about she is dead or alive" he said, "you probably won't see her alive anymore".
One day Usher told me that his sister wasn't in our world anymore. I wanted to burry her, but he said he didn't want to burry her yet, just to be sure of his death. 3 days after her "death",her body opened the door and fell on the floor. My friend died from the shock, so I came home, and ever came back to that house.

Personal Opinion: I think it's a nice book, but it's a little bit macabre in my opinion. It is very interesting but scary. I like this writter because he was imaginative and creative, and so are his books. The tales I liked the most of this book are the Gold Bug and the Fall of the House of Usher.

From Sweden with love :)
These days my class and I are doing a special exchange.
This is not a physical exchange, it’s a virtual exchange. What’s
this? A virtual exchange is an exchange you do by internet, sharing e-mails,
doing blogs, etc.
We are doing it with a Swedish school, the International English School Nacka, in Stockholm.
Now we’re just sending letter to each other, but later we’ll send
e-mails.
The name of my Swedish is Nora, and she’s 15 years old.
She has sent me two letters, and I also did. I think it’s really
funny, because she writes to me in Spanish and I write to her in English, so
it’s a little bit complicated, but it’s a good way of learning other languages,
knowing other countries’ manners and making friends.
I’m really happy with this exchange and my Swedish friend, she’s
really nice.
I love doing this kind of projects, it’s different and funny, and I
think we learn a lot.

Emma Watson
Emma is the famous actress who plays the role of Hermione in the saga Harry Potter, with her two castmates Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, written by J. K. Rowling and produced by the Warner Bros company.
She was born in Paris, the year 1990, to Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson, two English lawyers.
She lived there until she was 5, because then their parents separated, and she want to live to London with her mother and brother.
Since she was 6 she expressed her wishes of becoming an actress, and she acted in two school plays.
In 1999 started the Harry Potter's castings. She was only 9, but she was clear from the beginning she wanted to be Hermione.
The producers were fascinated for her self-confidence, and J. K. Rowling supported Emma since the first screen test.
The first movie was released in 2001.
Critics praised the performances of the three leads, often singling out Emma for particular acclaim; The Daily Telegraph called her performance "admirable" and that "she stole the show".
Only with that film she was nominated to 5 awards, and she won the Young Artist Award for Leading Young Actress.
A year later she starred again as Hermione in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and she received an Otto Award from a German magazine.
She interpreted in total 8 movies, and won 27 awards.
In 2007 she acted in a film apart from Harry Potter's saga; Ballet Shoes.
In june 2009, after moths of rumours, Emma confirmed that she would be partnering with Burberry as the face of their Autumn/Winter 2009 campaign.
She also appeared in Burberry's 2010 Spring/Summer campaign alongside her brother Alex.
Emma said she loved interpreting, but there were also a lot of things she wanted to do in her life, but we already know she's going to appear in other film in 2013.

Chiva
The days 8, 9 and 10 of September Sonia, Claudia; paula and me went to Sonia's village Chiva.
It's a very big village close to Valencia.
We were alone, so we had to cook, clean the house, and do everything by ourselves.
The first day, when we arrived, Sonia's family were there, but they left the house that same day.
It's a big house with a very big garden.
We went to take a walk around Chiva. It's so nice!
That night we were cooking potatoes omelet and the oil feel into my arm, and so now I have a scar, and I had to spend the whole night with my hand in a water glass.
There was a pool, but only Sonia swam, because it was really cold!
One morning Claudia and Paula went to the supermarket to buy some milk, bread, chocolate, etc. and they got lost in Chiva!
They had to call Sonia to explain her where they were and explain how to come back.
Nero (Sonia's dog) also came with us, so we went to take a walk with him everyday.
The only problem was that the garden was full of cats.
The last day we had to clean the whole house.
I had so much fun and I want to repeat it every year!
A week in Denmark
Today, i want to talks about my travel to Denmark.
3 months ago, my classmates and we went to a foreign place for us, Denmark.
The 4th June, we took a plane to Copenhagen.
When we arrive a bus carried us to Aarhus, a small nice village.
The fist day, we went for a ride along Aarhus.
It is a very nice place, but the weather was too cold, in my opinion.
That night we slept in the school's gym, and we were freezing.
The second day the family came and picked us.
I went with a friend, Viki. Our Danish correspondent was Rasmus. His parents are Birne and Tom. he has two brothers: Mathias (17) and Joakim (5).
Rasmus plays piano and guitar, and he loves playing handball, handbold in Danish.
By day we did workshops related with the Viking culture. Later we stayed at home, went shopping, etc.
One day we went to a disco. There were Danish, German and Spanish people.
We visited museums and explored the village.
The last day we said goodbye to our friends and family, went to the airport, and flied to Girona, and then we took a bus to Valencia.
I loved Denmark and my experience there.
I will never forget my Danish friends and family.

Benlloch
During these days my village, Benlloch is celebrating the August parties.
It lasts 15 days. In these parties you can watch bullfights, go to different parties, participate in competitions, etc.
I've a lot of weeks there.
My friends and me have a big house where we stay all day long. We use to play cards, talk, etc.
Some nights we went to balls and stayed dancing all night long. And when the ball finishes, we go to sleep.
By day we participate in competitions, take a ride with our bikes, go camping in the forest, but we specially like going to different village's parties.
We do a lot of new friends and now we are inseparable.
This year, the committe has organized a special party; "remember". It's a party about a different time. For example, this year is about the 80's.
They played old songs and people were dressed like in the 80's.
I personally don't like bullfights, I think it's cruel, but I had to watch it every day.
These parties were unforgettable, and I can't wait to the next summer to celebrate it again!
